Live your life
in full bloom
Therapy for Adults in Boston, MA & Dallas, TX.
Welcome
I’m Lucienne Cohen, a licensed clinical psychologist, and I see myself as a guide to helping people through life’s most complex and difficult moments. I truly enjoy helping people strengthen their relationships, navigate fertility, reduce struggles with food, recover from traumatic experiences, and learn to engage fully in their lives. Together, we work to create realization, connection, and understanding that leads to deep and lasting change.
As someone who appreciates the power of stories, I find great meaning in helping people navigate identity in various ways such as new motherhood, career, and cultural identity. We can work together to help you to feel more confident in your body, to deepen your relationship with self, and to weather life’s storms with intention and growth. I provide virtual psychotherapy in Massachusetts, Texas, and all PsyPact states.
Live a fulfilling life.
My primary goal is to listen to my client's needs and walk alongside them through their life journey. Utilizing my strengths of authenticity, empathy, and humor, I strive to create a trusting and open space where clients feel encouraged to engage in self-exploration and empowered to make meaningful change in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, strength-based, and mindfulness practices. My specialties include maternal mental health, disordered eating, body image concerns, perfectionistic tendencies, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
Taking an individualized approach, I consider your history, values, and identity as central to creating sustainable change. In our work, you can expect a compassionate, authentic, and relationship-centered experience. I'll help you gain insight, become aware of and connected to feelings, and develop a greater understanding of your strengths and challenges.
You don’t have to do this all alone.
My Specialties
-
Fertility & Perinatal Mental Health
If you are planning on starting a family, pregnant, postpartum, or a caregiver in any capacity, you may be trying to adapt to a new normal, experiencing worry, fertility concerns, grief, or loss.
I’ll help you navigate your journey through pre-conception to parenthood. I hold a supportive space for you to learn to express your needs, set boundaries, and deepen your connections with loved ones through this season of your life.
-
Body Image & Eating Concerns
Navigating relationships with your body and food can be complex. You may self-judge, feel uncomfortable in your body, or place significant value in physical appearance.
I'm here to guide you through these complexities to help you form healthier connections within yourself. Additionally, I will help you develop skills to challenge negative self-talk, shift behavior around food and exercise, and thrive in your body.
-
Anxiety, Perfectionism, & Self-Worth
Even if you are a high-achieving person, you may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, engaging in people-pleasing behaviors, or battling unreasonable expectations of self.
I can help you learn self-acceptance and lean into your emotional experiences. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space so that you can better understand yourself, your worth, and your patterns of behavior as it relates to your thoughts and emotions.
